Drywall Repair and Installation
When we start a project, we always take the right measurements first. We measure the height and length of the wall and ceilings. Then we calculate how many drywall sheets we’ll need. We start off by hanging the ceilings. We use the best tools on the market. For attaching the ceilings, we use a screw gun and drywall screws to make sure the sheets are flat and firm to the framing. After the ceiling is done, we start hanging the walls. Depending on the project, we can do this horizontally or vertically. Beginning with the top sheet is the way to go. People who don’t have a lot of experience doing this they find the next step quite tricky and undoubtedly messy. But not for us, because of our countless years of experience, we do this effortlessly. We start mixing the joint compound in a mixing panel until we find the right creamy consistency. We highly recommend using compounds that are mold resistant. This type also reduces the amount of dust in the air, which makes it even a safer option.  That type of compound is, of course, a little pricier, but the quality is better.
Ok, so now we start with all of our tools, like our drywall paper tape and our taping knife. We also have a saw for cutting the boards to make holes for the electrical boxes. We lay the first layer of compound and wait for 24 hours to let it dry. We always have a trained eye for detail, and we make sure your wall looks perfectly smooth! We generally put three layers of compound. After every coat, we do the sanding. Using our sanding tool, we sand off any uneven area and excess mud. Our goal here is smooth out the surface making it ready for the next layer. So after three coats of compound and sanding, your drywall is ready to be primed! Of course, we make sure we clean up the entire area, cleaning all the dust and debris.
